Professor Slingo, the Chief Scientist at the Met Office, will be giving a talk on geoengineering and the role of modelling in performing due diligence on proposed techniques. The meeting is organised by the Oxford Geoengineering Programme (OGP), which is part of the Oxford Martin School. The lecture is open to all - please note that with the Old Indian Institute, the normal venue for talks by the OGP, undergoing renovation, this talk will be held at the Lindemann Lecture Theatre at the Department of Physics.
